breathingvioletfog: jensghent, jan 2011  I remember I stumbled into him with elies the one day I was in ghent and he was very friendly and talked about how he’s studying film and how elies is a wonderful person (which she is), I miss that day seeing the ancient castle and cathedral and eating candy by the water while the light changed through the clouds and talking about everything with elies, art and friendships and growing up and we laughed so much I kept photographing her laughing. there’s something about belgium that’s different from anywhere else I’ve been, I want to go back badly. it’s one of the quietest places I’ve been for one.
